Our COVID-19 Response
COVID-19 has affected everyone’s lives. It has no bias on the way that you look, the way that you live nor where you are in the world. It doesn’t matter how rich or poor you are, or whether you’re black or white. It has no borders - geographically or socially, and it will target anyone it can possibly find. We here at ManMade have taken Coronavirus extremely seriously and over the past months we’ve seen how it has brought a unified goal for the community to work towards. We’ve seen the amazing things that people are doing for each other and it brings joy to know that everyone is in this together. But as we start to realign ourselves to ‘normalcy’ we must also adhere to some rules to ensure that we and you (our client) is as safe as possible.
Our current return to filming date is below. This date is not set in stone and has every opportunity to change. Should lockdown rules be reinforced then we too shall adhere to those rules. However, alongside that - there are certain limitations we have built in to ensure that we can provide the best service whilst also keeping safe. Please familiarise yourself with these rules should you be interested in booking a filming session.
Our current return to filming date:
15th June 2020
filming rules to adhere to:
SOCIal distancing
During shoots, we will do everything we can to ensure social distancing rules of at least 2 meters. That means that our cameras will be a minimum of 2 meters and so will we.
Each shoot will include an extra 30 minutes for setting up in these cases. For clients, please ensure that the room is BIG enough and located AS CLOSE to the entrance if possible to minimise contact points and chances of contraction. For Microphones, we will either use a boom or have you copy us to attach a lavalier mic correctly.
Unfortunately, this also means we can’t give you any hugs or handshakes like we normally do.
limiting people
To follow social distancing rules in place, we will be limiting the number of people in the room during the session.
That means for interviews, we will only allow the interviewee into the room at any one time. We will stagger interviews and we will plan with you in advance to ensure that everything moves forward quickly and without complications.
For clients, please ensure that the questions/script are provided beforehand so that we can do the interview.
GENERAL HYGIENE
A virus means better hygiene for all. In between filming sessions we will be cleaning all of our equipment to ensure minimal exposure to COVID-19.
We will also be wearing face masks and providing a hand sanitiser on set so both we and clients can use it before entering the filming location.
travel
As part and parcel of the current rules, we will be enforcing door to door travel to avoid the use of public transport. (We still don’t drive…)
We will be using taxis direct from door to door so please be mindful of the increase in cost should the location be further away. This will be discussed before hand.
free cancellations
If the pandemic causes the filming session to be cancelled, we will not charge for rescheduling or termination of the session itself.
TESTing
To further put our customers at ease, we have tested ourselves with the NHS Coronavirus test.
If someone we are filming has symptoms or tests positive within 2 weeks of the shoot, they cannot be involved in the shoot unless it is rearranged for a later date once they have recovered and have been cleared.
